Constance – feat. KAY FOSTER JACKSON
Album info
Published in 1999, Constance has been first Liquid Frame’s album, in collaboration with KAY FOSTER JACKSON. Twelve years ago there was something magic inside and around us, during composition as well as recording… Now it’s time to search for those emotions again 🙂
The following is the original album description:
“The dark sound of trip hop mixes with acid jazz and the sweetest vocal melodies. If you like Massive Attack, Portishead, Morcheeba, Sade, Tricky and Depeche Mode.”
Have a nice trip…
peace
Paolo – Liquid Frame
PS: As usual I’d like to thank you all Creative Workshop members, especially Daniela… respect, guys!

There’s nothing like the sweet and warm loving feeling.

One of the most rewarding sensations that I get from music, is this growing warm loving feeling together with a suave shivering, that occasionally invade me from top to toe. It’s something that occurs occasionally and one of the reasons that motivates my incessant search for all kinds and forms of music… a constant craving. It may happen on the account of some particularity, like a guitar riff or solo, a line of piano, the gentle whisper of a flute or the construction and tonality of a vocal work… or it may occur without a clear identification of the specific source and the whole package is to be considered. Sometimes, it gets to be very gradual and seldom, quite suddenly, already after several listening situations and when apparently, I am no longer expecting such a thing. I couldn’t help falling in love with this voice… warm, sensual, insinuating, quite well delineated and secure, proved to be the primary factor for that instant crush that I got. However, it took just a couple of listenings, to take awareness that there’s also something else, unequivocally growing inside, beyond that initial love at first sight kind of experience. And it’s due to all the musical structure that not only sustains, as it’s the fundamental guiding line to the woman’s delightful vocals. The sound is fairly good and permits quality through some elevation of the volume, considering there’s a pleasant dance orientation leaning over all the jazzy basis. PS – There’s also a quite delightful and appealing version of the track “ride away” in the album “horizons”… which I recommend.
